Allison & Bennett

Ive been photographing quite a few kids lately and i have many, many that i want to talk about. Im going to try and do better about blogging more frequently! This photo shoot was with Allison and Bennett, two fantastic kids. We met at their aunt and uncle's home. Their home sits right on top of a hill that when you look out you can see forever and a day of country side in all directions. I arrived to the shoot a little early to scope out spots and figure out lighting...etc After a few minutes i found myself just sitting in the green grass to take in the view. It was absolutely perfect and i could have thrown up a tent and stayed their a week :) I had a great time on the shoot and love the shots that we got. Here are a few sneak peaks.... :)

Stella's Birthday Party

Aren't pony rides what every little kids birthday party should be made of? I love that. I was thrilled that Kara called me back to photograph her daughters birthday party at their home in Birdeye. I had met the family a few weeks before when i photographed their portrait out at their plantation house.  I immediately fell in love with their family and the life that they live. They live in a house that was built in their family generations back,  family within walking distance, a place to grow and produce your own food and open space for their kids to run free.... Can you tell im a country girl at heart? (My husband is probably beaming just reading that statement) LOL!
Tables were set up under the big tree in the front lawn. Grandparents brought in ponies for all of the kids to ride...everyone had a great time!
Thanks again for letting me
I think Stella was whispering her birthday wishes in her little friends ear. :)
I love this picture of Stella and her cousin Chloe. Such a snapshot of childhood in the summertime, dont you think?

Ross Girls

These two girls were all about hamming it up for the camera! Their ultra cute outfits and spunky personalities made for such a lively photo shoot.  We had a great time.

A big thank you to the Smith family for letting us use your house/yard for the photo shoot...pics to come of their sweet kiddos as well!
