Sara Burchett Bridal Portrait

Sara & Ryan's wedding was a few weeks ago. They had a beautiful sunset wedding on the beach in Destin. I was thrilled to be a part of it. Here are a few of her bridals we did a while back. Im a little late with the blog lately. Im starting to catch up on my weddings lately, slowly but surely! This is a reception that I photographed back in May. Jenny is a close friend of mine that Ive known from my Little Rock days. They had a destination wedding the week before this and then had a big reception at the Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. It was a beautiful night. Lots of friends and family, great food, a fun band and not to mention some great moves out on the dance floor. :) Jenny and I went to church together and we met during my volunteering with the youth group. She has always been like a little sister to me- i love that girl! Im so happy for her and Daniel. She found a great guy and I wish them many, many, many years of happiness!

Destin

Destin was such a great family vacation for the three of us. It was Tobin's first time at the beach- which he took to immediately. He had the best time playing in the sand and splashing his feet in the water. We are already talking of going back in the fall. Ive got TONS of post work to do- four BEAUUUTIFUL weddings that I cannot wait to share. Until then, here are some pics of my beach babes......

I feel like its been forever since ive posted anything on here! Im in the middle of the craziness of wedding season right now. Ive got lots of great shoots to talk about! Ive done some really fun bridals but they will have to wait until after the wedding to post.  This coming weekend im shooting two weddings, one in Hot Springs and the other in Memphis, then turning around and heading to Destin, FL to photograph a wedding! My first BEACH WEDDING-im so stoked!!! Nate and Tobin are going to come along to and make it a family trip while we are down there. Im so excited for Tobin to play on the beach- he is a sun baby! And the vacation is coming at such a needed time for us! I am ready to relax a bit. We were in Little Rock over Memorial Day weekend. I photographed a wedding reception that Saturday nite and then we got to play at Riverfest and catch up with some friends the rest of the time. We headed to Nate's mom's house in Reydell,AR for some good eats and family time. My sister-in-law, Stacey, and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and had a little impromptu photo session. Here are some of my favorites. Doesn't she have the most beautiful eyes? Eden is here!

Some very good friends of ours, Jonathan and Abria Vansandt, just got a precious little addition to their family last week. We couldn't be more excited for them! 

Abria wasn't due until June so I was completely surprised when I got a call from Jonathan last Tuesday nite telling me that Abria was in the hospital with contractions and they were pretty sure that this was the real deal!

 I was scheduled to shoot Abria's prego portrait the very next day, something we had planned months ago. Neither one of us realizing when we planned it that it would turn out to be their daughter's birthday! How wild is that?

Eden Hollis arrived early the next morning- beautiful and healthy. We are all a little convinced that she was older than what we had thought all along ;)

 They were  able to go home earlier this week so I met up with them to get some shots of Eden in her nursery. 

Eden did great! She slept soundly most of the time which made for some beautiful pictures and even threw me a few smiles here and there.

Another fun shoot to post!

Here are some of my favs from Ronnie and J.R.'s engagement session. They were both so relaxed and comfortable with the camera that it wasnt hard work at all to get beautiful shots of them. It doesn't hurt either that they are both so darn good lookin. ;)

I met Veronica and the bridal fair earlier this year in Jonesboro. I had just moved to Jonesboro days before the bridal fair...im still not sure how i pulled off getting everything together on time for my booth. I remember scrounging around trying to locate things in boxes the morning of.

Seeing the two of them interact really made me excited about photographing their wedding this fall.
